3 Great Options for Chevy Hybrids and Chevy EVs for 2025

Chevy is making waves in 2025 with a powerful mix of hybrid and electric vehicles. Whether you want the high-performance Corvette E-Ray hybrid, the efficient Equinox EV, or the rugged Silverado 1500, Chevy has something for everyone. Let’s dive into their specs, performance, and why they stand out

1. 2025 Chevy Equinox EV

Chevy first offered an electrified version of the popular Equinox compact SUV in 2024 and supplied it with even more power in 2025. It’s one of the most affordable EV SUVs on the market and can be had with standard front-wheel drive or dual-motor all-wheel drive. The single electric motor that powers the FWD models makes 220 horsepower and offers an impressive range of up to 319 miles per charge.

Models equipped with AWD increase the horsepower to 300 and only slightly reduce the estimated range to 285 miles. The interior features standard amenities like front bucket seats, automatic climate control, and a 17.7-inch infotainment display with Google built-in compatibility, which includes navigation.

2. 2025 Chevy Silverado EV

The 2025 Silverado EV also enters its second model year, bringing an expanded lineup and a third battery option. This all-electric pickup is powered by dual motors for all-wheel drive and 510 hp in the base trim. If you plan to use your truck for work or to tow a trailer on your next vacation, you’ll be pleased with its maximum 12,500-pound towing capacity. The cargo bed is 10-feet-10-inches long, and a Multi-Flex tailgate with six configurations is available.

Range varies by trim level and battery size, offering up to 460 miles on a single charge with the Max Range battery. Inside, the Silverado EV features a standard 11-inch infotainment touchscreen and simple analog climate controls.

3. 2025 Chevy Corvette E-Ray

The first-of-its-kind 2025 Corvette E-Ray supercar is designed for all-season performance and thrilling speed. It combines a 495-hp 6.2-liter V8 engine with an electric drive unit to power the front axle, for a total of 655 combined horsepower. The electric drive unit adds 125 lb-ft of torque to the front axle, while the engine powers the rear with 470 lb-ft. The system mates to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission and can reach 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds.

The Corvette E-Ray’s stunning exterior provides a sleek, sculpted presence. The sporty interior features supportive GT1 bucket seats covered in leather, a standard rear camera mirror, a head-up display, and more.
