Your Blazer comes with your choice of engines, depending on trim: there’s a 2L turbo offering 228 hp, 258 lb-ft of torque, and Start/Stop tech, which automatically turns the engine off and on at stops for fuel savings. If you go with the EV, you get 279 miles of range, the Ultium propulsion battery that’s up to 150 kW DC fast-charging capable, and 288 horsepower with a huge 333 lb-ft of torque.
Performance
All Blazer models come with drive mode selector. If you’ve chosen a FWD model, your options are Tour, Sport, Snow/Ice, Tow/Haul, and Off-Road. With AWD, you get the same plus the option to turn on or off the All-Wheel Drive.
With a fully independent suspension tuned for optimum handling, it’s a breeze to haul around a full load: up to 6,001 lbs GVWR on the gas models and 6,504 lbs in the EV.
Room for It All
Five people can comfortably ride in this vehicle, and even with the seats full, you get 30.50 cu-ft of cargo volume. Behind the front row, there’s 64.20 cu-ft. All models come standard with 60/40 second-row, split-folding seats and sliding rear seats.
